We're not a catalog reseller drop-shipping awnings from somewhere you'll never see. DMP is a working fabrication shop in central Minnesota — the aluminum gets cut, the frames get welded, the fabric gets sewn, and the sponsor graphics get printed all in the same building on Haven Road. One shop in Little Falls.

Most awning orders get split across a metal shop, a print shop, and a sewing room in three different states. We do all of it in one Minnesota building — which is exactly why the finished awning fits the way it's supposed to.

  • In-house CNC machining. Clear-anodized billet brackets and plates cut to your rig, not pulled from a bin.
  • Metal fabrication & welding. Oversized 1.5″ × 2″ × .125″ wall aluminum A-frames built to race.
  • Sewing under the same roof. One-piece zipper and fabric storage bag standard on every awning.
  • Dye-sublimation large-format printing. Sponsor graphics printed straight into the fabric, not stuck on top.
  • Tighter tolerances. Machining and sewing in the same shop means parts fit as designed — a true custom fit.
  • One crew, one standard. No outside vendors, no handoffs, no finger-pointing when something doesn't line up.

An hour from BIR.

If you run Brainerd International Raceway or make the trip for the NHRA Brainerd Nationals, the shop is roughly an hour down the road. For a lot of Minnesota teams, that means the people who built your awning are practically local.

We know that stretch of the state well — it's our own backyard, and it's where a good chunk of DMP awnings end up shading a pit. Being close by makes it easy to talk through a build in person and get your rig sorted before the season heats up.

Where is DMP Awnings located?+

Our shop is at 12802 Haven Rd, Little Falls, MN 56345 — right in central Minnesota. Everything from machining to printing happens in that one building. Get in touch or call 320-237-0509.

Do I have to be in Minnesota to order an awning?+

How far is the shop from the Twin Cities, St. Cloud, or Brainerd?+

Roughly 90 minutes from the Twin Cities down Highway 10, about 35 minutes from St. Cloud, and about 45 minutes from Brainerd. Little Falls sits close to the middle of the state, so most of Minnesota's racing hubs are an easy drive.

Do you build awnings for teams that run Brainerd International Raceway?+

Plenty of them. The shop is about an hour from BIR, so if you run Brainerd or the NHRA Brainerd Nationals, we're close by. Reach out ahead of time and we'll help you spec and build a race trailer awning for your rig.
