Stacker Trailer Awnings built to fit.

Custom awnings for tall stacker trailers — high mounting points, upper-deck doors, and long walls that dealer bolt-ons can’t handle. Every bracket and span is CNC-machined to your exact rig in Little Falls, MN and shipped nationwide.

A stacker is a different animal — extra-tall sidewalls, a lift, and upper-deck side doors sitting where a standard trailer has nothing at all. That’s exactly the fit a one-size bolt-on awning gets wrong. A DMP stacker awning is a true custom build — mounted at the right height, offset to clear your door and lift, and spanned to your long wall — because we machine, weld, sew, and print every one under our own roof.

01 — Why a stacker is different

The height problem.

Hang an awning off a stacker like it’s a standard enclosed trailer and you fight the mounting height, the door, and the lift all at once. Here’s what a custom build solves.

  • High mounting points. Stacker walls run tall, so the awning has to mount high and still hang at a usable working height — not something a fixed bolt-on bracket gets right.
  • Upper-deck door clearance. We locate brackets and offset the frame so your upper-deck side door and lift open freely, awning up or down.
  • Long-wall spans. Stackers are long. We match the awning to your wall so you get shade and cover where the crew actually works, not a short section in the middle.
  • Free-hanging design. A 12–14 ft free-hanging span with no legs keeps cars, jacks, and air hoses clear underneath — wider or leg-supported builds are available for the longest walls.
  • Heavy aluminum A-frames. Oversized 1.5″ × 2″ × .125″ wall aluminum holds its shape on a big rig that gets set up and torn down every weekend.
  • Built to your rig, not a catalog. Every part is CNC-machined to your trailer for a tight, finished fit — never a generic part forced to work.
02 — Custom bracket fabrication

Brackets made to fit.

The whole stacker challenge lives in the brackets. A tall wall, an upper door, and a lift all want the awning in a slightly different place — so we build the mounting to your measurements instead of hoping an off-the-shelf part lands right.

  • Height-matched brackets that mount high on the wall and still hang the awning where your crew can work.
  • Door- and lift-cleared offsets so upper-deck access is never blocked.
  • Clear-anodized billet brackets and plates that stay clean and don’t corrode.
  • Stainless mounting hardware throughout, sized for a heavy stacker wall.

04 — Built for your stacker

Every kind of stacker.

Different stackers, different jobs — but all of them tall, long, and worth doing right. We build for each one.

Drag-Race Stackers

Dragster and door-car haulers that carry a car up top and a pit below. We hang a clean, free-hanging awning that clears the lift and gives the crew a real work area trackside.

Multi-Car Collector Stackers

Long collector and show haulers with tall walls and upper decks. We span the full wall so unloading, detailing, and display all happen in the shade.

Gooseneck Stackers

Gooseneck stackers with extra length and height up front. We locate brackets around the deck and doors so the awning fits the whole rig, front to back.

05 — DMP vs. a bolt-on

Custom beats bolt-on.

Dealer and factory awning options are built for an average trailer. A stacker isn’t average — and the difference shows up the moment you try to open the upper door with the awning down.

06 — FAQ

Stacker questions.

Why won’t a bolt-on or dealer awning work on my stacker?+

Bolt-on and dealer-factory awnings are sized for an average trailer wall. A stacker mounts higher, runs longer, and has an upper-deck door and lift in the way — so a fixed-position part usually lands at the wrong height or blocks your access. We build the brackets and span to your rig instead. Request a free quote and we’ll spec it to your trailer.

How do you handle the height of a stacker trailer?+

We machine height-matched brackets so the awning mounts high on the tall wall and still hangs at a working height your crew can stand and wrench under. It’s all cut to your measurements — nothing generic bolted on and hoped for.

Will the awning clear my upper-deck side door and lift?+

Yes — that clearance is the whole point of a custom build. We locate the brackets and offset the frame around your upper door and lift so they open freely with the awning up or down. Send us photos and measurements and we’ll confirm the fit before we build.

How wide a span can you build for a long stacker wall?+

Our awnings free-hang 12–14 ft with no legs, and wider or leg-supported spans are available for the longest walls. We match the length to your wall so the shade lands where the work happens. Tell us how you run and we’ll recommend the right span.

Can you print our team and sponsor graphics on it?+

Absolutely. We print full-color graphics straight into the fabric on our in-house large-format printers. A stacker’s tall wall makes a big, clean canvas that reads across the pits.

Do you ship stacker awnings outside Minnesota?+

We build in Little Falls, MN and ship nationwide. Wherever you race or show, we can get an awning to you with hardware and a fabric storage bag. Start a free quote and we’ll handle the details.
